Welcome from the Executive Director

On behalf of the Board and employees of West Alabama Mental Health Center (WAMHC) I welcome you to our home in cyberspace. Please check back often as we add helpful information.

WAMHC is a regional mental health center located in the Blackbelt area of west Alabama. We strive to help our community with mental health and substance abuse issues. We also have a strong mental retardation program. Through our prevention program we help at-risk and other students stay off drugs and in school. We work with many community agencies to bridge the gap between services.
