Pursuant to the Holidays/Closure policy (PA-20) adopted in 2002, WAMHC now has official closed holidays only, and no open holidays. These closed holidays mean that most facilities operated by WAMHC will be closed, with the exception of the residential facilities that are operated on a 24-hour, 7-day a week basis. These residential facilities will remain open on these days and staffed accordingly. In place of open holidays full-time employees are given a set amount of personal leave hours that he/she may take each calendar year. These days are determined by employment status and program.
